Laboratories International for Microbiology Studies
LIMS is a fully equipped and staffed microbiology laboratory, accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). LIMS's FUNCTION IS THREE-FOLD:

  • Validate all testing data generated by study investigators throughout the world using CLSI approved quality control standards
  • Perform all testing required in a study protocol for clients who prefer centralized testing
  • Collect and store bacterial isolates from all study sites. LIMS stores tens of thousands of isolates representing hundreds of species from investigator sites throughout the world. Organisms collected from these studies, many of which are highly resistant to traditional antibiotic therapies, are categorized and offered to organizations throughout the world for the development of newer, more potent antimicrobial agents.
